Animals Everywhere!
Students in Mrs. Rutcosky's kindergarten class are having fun learning about animals in Science. First we discussed how animals move and what body parts help them move…legs, wings or fins. Then, in the Science center we sorted animals into groups that swim, run, crawl, walk, hop, and fly. The students also created animals from model magic and described their animal and its habitat. We learned what animals need to survive and how their scales, fur, or skin help to protect them. Who knew animals were so much fun? We did!!
