Masks!

Chinese New Year

Each year the Chinese celebrate the New Year.  This year it starts on Feb. 7th.  There is a 12 year cycle in which 12 different animals represent a year. This is the year of the rat.  The students in Mrs. Andersen’s classroom read a book about the celebration, took notes, made the Chinese calendar and made dragons.
