Homes Fit for a Groundhog
Second graders in Mrs. Gross’ class designed groundhog homes out of shoeboxes. They learned about length, width and practiced measuring wall paper and flooring to fit perfectly inside their shoeboxes. After that they learned how to make 3-D rectangles for beds, bathtubs, TV’s and tables. Finally students wrote a persuasive real estate ad hoping to sell their home to a groundhog.
