Decorating Valentine Containers
The excitement over Valentine’s Day grew as students in Mrs. Pike’s first grade class decorated their Valentine containers. Students cut and glued hearts to their milk jug container. Some created layered hearts with as many as four layers! To the students this was pure fun. They didn’t realize they were working on important fine motor skills when they were cutting and gluing. Valentine’s Day is sweet in more ways than one!
