SEVENTH & EIGHTH GRADE HAL "SPAM" VISIT SAS MUSEUM
by Christi Gochenour
After researching a specific aircraft and its significance in American aviation, six of the high-ability learners at Otte Middle School went to the Strategic Air and Space Museum. Once there, the students were taken on a "tour of a life-time." They were able to sit in the cockpits of several planes and speak with a Korean and Vietnam War Veteran. The students also met the supervisor of plane restoration and were able to ask questions about renovating the planes at SAS.
