JAZZ...And The Music Man
Arbor Park 4th and 5th grade students presented their annual Spring Sing concert with a little added flair this year.
During their study of jazz music, fourth grade students listened to and studied some of the greats...Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington Bobby McFerrin and Louis Armstrong. Keeping with this theme, fourth graders sang a repertoire of jazz music, including their favorite, "What a Wonderful World."
Fifth grade students performed a special arrangement of Meredith Wilson's, "The Music Man", giving them the opportunity to experience a bit of musical theater, complete with costumes, sets and props.
