Under the Sea

A Study Of Lines

by Shelley Schoby

Adaptive art students were busy making many different kinds of lines. Students practiced the concept of forming a line by drawing from one side of the paper to the other. During this lesson, students tried to move away from scribbling and to having more control of their drawing tools. Students used a variety of media for their lines such as; painting with brushes and Q-tips, and blowing paint with straws. Finally, students painted circle lines on fish and turtles.
